The first game was neck and neck the entire way. Lights ended up on top 31 to 29. The second game was the same exact way! Every single point was matched, 9-9, 16-16. Towards the end of the match, the 17-1's caught a small three or four point lead, but Kiva quickly crept back in. Finally, Lights ended in 30-28. It was a really exciting match!

The 17-1's are in the Gold Championship Match. They started the day playing familiar faces. The Puerto Rican team, St. Francis, that they went to three games with the other day was the team that had to beat this morning. Fortunatly, they did it easier than the other day with a good two game win. This put them in the semi finals and they had to play Illini Elite. It was not the toughest of matches. They won in two games. Now, we are anxiously waiting for their 7:00 p.m. championship match against Kiva 17-1. Pictures of the 17-1's semi-finals match can be see by clicking here.
