Today I was at the convention center the entire day. Unfortunately the 16-2 was once again at the Disney complex, so I have no pictures of them. They probably think I don't like them anymore.
A quick summary follows.
151 had another great day. They went 3-0 and are now 9-0 in the tournament. They are in the final Gold Championship Bracket, with 8 teams. They will play Milwaukee Sting 15-1 on Tuesday morning at the Disney complex. If they win that match they will be assured of at least a Bronze medal.
161 - went 3-0 today. This gave them an overall pool record of 5-1 and they finished 2nd in their pool. This advances them to the 2nd round of play towards the Gold Championships. They had a great match against Milwaukee Sting 16-1, which was their last match and they won it in 3 sets.
162 - They won all 3 of their matches today. They are still in the hunt for Gold and play on Tuesday morning at the Convention Center. Once again, I won't be there to take any pictures of them because I'll be watching the 15-1's in the Gold Championship Bracket. Sorry 16-2's!
163 - They went 2-1 today. After they were done they all took ice baths....they were numb afterwards and half of them said they hate Jackie. But tomorrow they will feel great. They play in the morning at the convention center.
164 - They went 1-2 today and finished 3rd in their pool. They then went home and had a potato bar. They will play in the afternoon at the Convention Center.
165 - They also went 0-3 today, finishing 4th in their pool. They then went home, had dinner and met with Curt. They will play in the afternoon at the Convention Center.
171 - They went 2-1 today which gave them an overall record of 4-2 for the pool. This advances them to the 2nd round of play towards the Gold Championships. Their last match of the day against A5 was a great match that they won in 3 sets. They will play in the morning at the Convention Center.
172 - They went 3-0 today. They are still in the hunt for Gold and play on Tuesday morning at the Convention Center.
173 - They went 2-1 in pool play, but were tied for 1st place and had a tie breaker game. They lost the tie breaker game and finished 3rd in the pool. They are no longer in contention for the gold. They will play in the afternoon at the Convention Center.
181 - They went 2-1 today, losing their final match to a team named Nfinity. However because their was a 3 way tie for 1st they won the tie based on game & point % so they were ranked 1st in the pool. They will play their final matches of their Junior career tomorrow morning in the Disney Complex.
182 - They went 3-0 today and finished 1st in their pool. They are now 6-0 in the tournament and advancing toward the Gold Championships still. They will play a pool of 4 tomorrow and then have a challenge match in the evening if they are 1st or 2nd in the pool.
