Times:
Play begins on the first day at 8:00 AM. Most teams conclude play by 4:00 PM on the last day. Finals conclude at approximately 4:00 PM on the last day.
Where:
The Northern Lights Qualifier main site will be the Minneapolis Convention Center. A map to the convention center may be found at the above link.
18's, 17's, & 16's Sites
We intend to play all teams at the convention center, however if demand exceeds capacity of the convention center we will be keeping the highest levels of the 18's, 17's, & 16's at the convention center. Any additional sites used will be posted at the Convention Center.
UniversityAthlete.com handheld Palm Recruiting Software
The Northern Lights Qualifier has partnered with UniversityAthlete.com to provide you the latest and best program for recruiting. The UniversityAthlete.com Recruiting Software operates on most any handheld devices such as Blackberry, Ipad, etc. Through this software, you will have complete tournament scheduling information, team rosters and player information and event updates. It allows you to flag players for evaluation, identify new players, rank and evaluate a player, make individual notes on each player and find the tournament schedule of all your marked prospects with the click of a button!
Registration Information
This year Universityathlete.com will be handling all registrations and payments for the recruiting software or for the paper copies. Please vist their website after the Christmas Holidays to sign up for the software.
Once you have registered for the tournament on the Universityathlete.com website, you will be able to download your software before the tournament even starts. This year updates will be available approximately every 10 minutes during the tournament. You can get your updates at the tournament site, or on the Universityathlete.com website at anytime.
The electronic recruiting package cost will be is $135 for the 1st weeked. You can sign up and pay for this directly with Universityathlete.com after the Christmas Holidays. For additional coaches from the same school the cost is $80.
The electronic recruiting package cost will be is $40 for the 2nd weeked, with no support on site and all downloads need to be done by you from the UA Internet website. You can sign up and pay for this directly with Universityathlete.com after the Christmas Holidays.
A PDF file of the player information is also available for the 1st weekend only. The cost for the PDF flie is $50 for a college not using the electronic recruiting package, once again you register/pay on the Universityathlete website.
