Competition Results and Team Strength Information

All results are to be submitted via the Signuptoplay.com website. There are no files to download, no paper to fill out, nothing to email, you can update it continuously! There is also no need to call or email us and ask if "we got it", if you see it on the screen it's there!

Deadlines

Results are needed for the seeding of the tournament. Seeding for the Qualifier will begin approximately 3 weeks prior to the event. All teams in the 12's, 13's, 16's, 17's & 18's age divisions must have results submitted by 5:00pm (CST) March 28, 2008. All teams in the 14's & 15's age divisions must have results submitted by 5:00pm (CST) April 4, 2008.

This tournament will be seeded using a computer seeding program. The seeding program takes into account your win/lose record, head to head results, age levels you play, and other factors. All teams are encouraged to keep your results updated even after the above deadline, as we will try and run the seeding program within a few days of the schedule release dates. Teams which have no valid results in the system will end up seeded at the bottom or in the same pool.

Procedures

Results will be submitted on the Signuptoplay.com website. Results can be entered manually on the website, or may be imported.

Results entered into the Signuptoplay.com website are not tournament specific. This means that as you enter results, they will be used by all events which are using the Signuptoplay website for their tournament registration. This is a huge time saver!

Steps for Manual Entry of results:

Go to www.signuptoplay.com
Sign into your club information with your club password.
Select "TEAMS" from the side-bar menu.
Click on a team you want to enter results for.
Click on the "RESULTS" button at the top of the page.
Click on the "ADD MATCH" button at the top of the page.
Fill in all the boxes on that page.
Click on "SAVE".
To add more results repeat the process starting with "ADD MATCH".
You also need to fill out the section labled "OTHER SEEDING".
When you are done entering results select "CLOSE", exit the results page, and exit the team page by clicking on "RETURN TO LIST". (There is no need to click on "SAVE" on the team page.)
Repeat this process for each team.

You may delete a result by double clicking on it and selecting "DELETE". You may delete all results for a team by selecting "DELETE ALL". Once you delete any or all results, they cannot be recovered, so be sure you really want to do it.

Steps for Importing results:

Go to www.signuptoplay.com
Sign into your club information with your club password.
Select "TEAMS" from the side-bar menu.
Click on a team you want to enter results for.
Click on the "RESULTS" button at the top of the page.
Click on the "IMPORT" button at the top of the page. Read all the information on that page before proceeding.
Click on the "IMPORT INSTRUCTIONS" button at the top of the page, read and follow the instructions. If you do not understand what is on that page do not attempt to import your data. Please do not call us for help, as we are not technical experts on your computer system and we will be unable to advise you.
When you are done importing your results select "CLOSE", exit the results page, and exit the team page by clicking on "RETURN TO LIST". (There is no need to click on "SAVE" on the team page.)
Repeat this process for each team.

Some rules to remember about importing results:

The file you import must be a comma delimited file either saved from Excel as a ".csv" file or created from scratch as a comma delimited text file.
Each team's results must be in an independent file. You cannot have multiple team's results in one file.

No Faxed, Mailed, Emailed Forms

Forms (or files) which are faxed, mailed, emailed, dropped off, phoned in, Fed Ex'd, delivered by Pony Express, sent by courier pigeon, or arrive at our office by any other means will not be accepted. This means if you send us your results by any method other than by using the Signuptoplay website you will have caused a tree to give up it's life for nothing because the information will be placed in our recycle box (or in the case of emailed files they will be blasted into cyber space).
