Qualifier. Pool Play on Saturday & Sunday followed by playoffs on Monday.
All teams guarenteed 7 matches minimum. 12's teams, your event will run on Saturday and Sunday only. We will attempt to give all 12's teams a minimum of 5-6 matches. |
Open Division: Only 16 teams will be accepted into each of the Open age divisions. These 16 teams will be placed into two pools of 8 teams. You will play all teams in your pool on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. After pool play finishes on Monday morning, the top two teams from each pool will go into a 4 team Gold Playoff Bracket. The winner of the Gold Bracket is the winner of that Division. The remaining teams will play their respective finishing team from the other pool, for example the #3 teams from each pool will play each other. Each team is guarenteed 8 matches in this format. |
|
Scheduling:Scheduling for this event uses the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse Real Time Results system, just like the Qualifiers & USJO Nationals. Updates are done every 4-7 minutes. There will also be 20 results stations at the tournament for everyone to use. The formats used are nationally accepted formats that advance teams fairly. |
|
| Seeding | We believe in seeding the tournament fairly. We will be looking at your currrent results and since it is early in the season, your club's historical strength. All seeding is reviewed by the tournament Director Tony Carrow. |
| Athletic Trainers | We believe the Athletes in Junior events deserve to have
Athletic Trainers on duty during the events. We will have a complete Athletic
Training area like those found at the Qualifiers. Why take any chances, play at an event where your players can get the best care if needed. |
| Officiating | All matches will have a paid 1st Referee. We believe that if you are investing the time to play in this event, you deserve a well officiated match. |
| Cost | The entry fee for this event is $475 per team for the Club
division and $525 for the Open division. What a deal! A three day, qualifier type event for only $475 or $525!! 12's teams $325, your event will only be on Saturday and Sunday. |
| Hotels | There are many hotels to choose from in the Omaha area. You can find your own, or select from the ones we have established low rates at. To see a list of the hotels that we have negotiated special rates with, go to our hotel page. |
